Its never easy...
Sometimes you look around at your life and realize you've stalled a bit. I think we can all get comfortable and complacent. When we get to that place it is extremely hard. Extremely hard because it takes more effort to do what we really want. I've been wanting to get more serious about my art. However, I am incredibly good at making up excuses. Its a habit I need to break. Like yesterday.

Every New Year
I'm 99% sure that twice a year every person takes stock of their life. One is a person's birthday. You ask yourself, I am another year older, what I have accomplished in this past year? The other is the start of a new year. I am no different than anyone else. I do this as well. So, I brought out my list of 30 things under 30.
1. Skydiving
2. White water rafting
3. Bungy jumping
4. Live in another country
5. Visit several coutries

7. Own a big dog
8. Run a marathon

10. Live in a State other than Florida
11. Learn to surf
12. Own/ride a motorcycle
13. More tattoo's
14. Get belly button pierced
15. Write a book
16. Read all books on the list "100 books by college"

18. Bowl an average of 150/160
19. Take a seminary class

28. Make a pie completely from scratch
29. Horse back riding
30. Swim with dolphins
Previously I'd finished these. That was all accomplished by 2010
12-I've riden on the back of one. Still want to own a motorcycle some day.
14-Loved it even though it closed up after my surgery.
20- I think I'm on the way with that...that will always be a work in process.
29- Did this summer with my family in Live Oak.
Well by 2011, I've added a few.
1-Happy 24th B-day to me. I jumped out of a perfectly good plane. It was amazing.
13- I've added 2 to my body this year. One in May and one in December. Loves the body art.
21-I went to Kenya this year. First time out of the country. Which puts me on my way to #5
28-I was close. Didn't make the crust.....one day!
I'm a little behind. I may do this again on my birthday. Especially since I'll be 25 then. I have much to accomplish still. I better get on it.
I am also, trying to figure out my life. I guess that's pretty continual. For everyone. LOL!
